Life Manager automatically runs an automatic log off timer which is clearly displayed at the bottom of the application at all times. If for any reason you left your program open with material for your eyes only then rest assured it will close itself after the timer expires, The default time limit is 15 minutes but can be set to anything wanted. The countdown can also be paused, resumed and reset from the Security menu. Within the program options you can select different task tray icons to make the program less noticeable, customize the main background window picture within the application. Lastly there was so many people using the Analogue clock that it may be set to automatically start when you open Life Manager. Unlike many programs which decide to bug you with update messages Life Manager simply provides the ability to check for updates yourself at anytime. If there is a newer version available then direct download buttons are provided which are automatically linked to the most current version for you. The text jotter is a plain text editor which has it's own file type to stop prying eye's while away easily finding files or knowing what to do with them while also supporting regular txt format and a few additional. You may have multiple text jotter windows open. Keeping track of money is a pain at the best of times usually so a simply finance manager with a savings target being able to entered and work towards with count down of days left and amount remaining. The manager allows you to enter the days money in and out with ability to add notes to each. Such a handy tool I made a while back, Got a large MP3 Collection and someone asks "what you got?" this program allows you to navigate to any directory or drive and list either the Folders in the directory or Files in the directory as a list in plain text 1 beneth the other. The icing on the cake is the copy to clipboard function to simply go paste the list in Text jotter or where needed. A truly download to earth calculator with no number digits to press on the screen HURRAY, Instead you simply use your Numpad as usual. The calculator instead provides a calculation log which can be copy pasted to show method of calculation where needed. The window clock works but does it as hell look nice so within Life Manager is a true original 3 hand Analogue clock borderless and blends into the program background for just moving hands. Lots of people are like me when it comes to a regular alarm clock...broken within 2 days tops from violent hitting or a trip through the air. Instead set a wake up time on Life Manager and leave your PC speakers on, Select any MP3 you want and fall asleep safe in the knowledge your tunes are going to wake you up. I decided to revive TicTacToe also known as O's and X's, This classic game allows you to play against your PC with some unique tiles to say the least. Your play times, win, loses and ties are all saved so build a fair play time. 
That's right you can watch your movies and view your pictures inside of Life Manager whatever they may be :P Also again you may have multiple picture and movie windows. This light web browser does the job essentially, No silly side buttons, Gizmo's and gadgets just a simple working browser. You can bookmark webpages and set a homepage for yourself. There is also a bookmark manager supplied for easy editing. The web browser also supports multiple windows. The most important function of a program if it is too be discreet is a quick method of hiding everything your working on, this is why at any time whilst using the program pressing the F1 key will hide Life Manager and only leave the task tray icon left to double click and reopen the program. Also using F1 hide mode will not close the applications you where using inside, when you reopen the program everything you where working on inside will still be there for you to use. Best of all no matter what application you use inside Life Manager Windows task manager processes list will only ever show "wwf.exe" as the active program nothing more. With Life Manager Hidden or minimized to task tray only 1 application icon represents the whole program keeping everything clean and tidy. |
