About stonerscolony
	In the beginning My name is FaTe and I am the owner, founder, developer of stonerscolony and all the side projects that branch from stonerscolony. Stonerscolony was first developed as a forum based site only and we started out on a phpBB platform as at the time I had no real PHP experience and started by editing the PHPbb platform trying to alter and add extra content which only led to a super messy phpBB code base By the time I given up on phpBB I had quite a bit experience dealing with databases and scratch writing PHP pages so decided it would be best to create a custom code base for the site and go from there trying to create the features which where present on the site at that time back into newer template while creating more new area's too boost launching a new concept. Starting from scratch When the new site template was on-line stonerscolony had already been on-line for roughly 7 months and had a small but loyal following seeing as they all stuck with us during the countless transitions and upgrades seen over time. I had no funds to pay for advertising so I started reading all the Search Engine Optimisation pages, books, video's I could find and started to change the site to best suit search engines crawling the site. There are countless upgrades on site and too many too mention, however each new area or content page had to be designed to take advantage of SEO techniques and doing this for each page or area would be lengthy to say the least. The birth of stonerscolony A.I. system L.A.D.I.Y I thought long and hard about how much information to reveal about the operations here on stonerscolony but I came to realize that only by being informed can you better understand the decisions taken on site. L.A.D.I.Y??? Lazy Admin Do It Yourself The L.A.D.I.Y system is one born out of pure need for myself, Stonerscolony was growing quite fast and trying to up keep the entire site on my own was some task and having already had experience in Artificial intelligence based systems to run or maintain I thought I would try and create a system to run this entire site. Everything I had read about PHP didn't mention any type of A.I based systems but that didn't mean it wasn't possible... First task was creating a reliable base system to monitor all routines from time to run, memory usage, CPU usage, site load to the condition of the database. This means any routine installed to run is automatically monitored and able to stop, pause, re-allocate run time or other functions. These functions are seen everywhere on site, they also handle all SEO functions and it also monitors every member and guest on site. Why is that important? The system is able to see users activities including content submitted to check for spam or invalid page requests, By doing so it can flag bad users to my attention or take action on its own if the threat is considered bad enough which results in the member or guest being ejected of site while being IP banned. This system also preforms all types of maintenance on site and behind the scenes ensuring stonerscolony always runs at its best. At the end of the day L.A.D.I.Y takes care of so many tasks on site that it leaves me to get on building new features, area's or content, It always seemed funny how the pattern of stonerscolony development would result in the site essentially running itself Plans for the future My plans for stonerscolony include more upgrades for the Stoner City area of the site and too enjoy the community growing and expanding as fast as it is
