The 1/16th Truggy died after 20 minutes, wireless camera sucked so what else can

I finally got around to taking the RC Truggy out with me when we decided to go out for the day and all was going well had no issues starting it up pretty much on the 2 pull of the starter which is pretty decent for a brand spanking new engine. So I left the engine to run in by letting it sit on idle throttle for its first full tank allowing the engine to properly run the piston and jacket with a good lubricating nitro fuel for first time use.

Also I had made a point to take the wireless camera shown in boat blog

The wireless camera however has meanwhile been attacked by Mikey the younger cat who obviously thought the Ariel was a good chew toy while we where asleep... blank face  However I did a quick range test indoors over 10 foot it was still fine so I thought everything was still OK as it only looks like the outer protective jacket of the Ariel had been damaged.

So back to trying the car with the camera...after getting everything set up I do a couple of test runs around on the grass beside the car which was pretty OK although all you seen was grass and blue sky moving fast lol toungue

However when it came to doing a high speed past on a stretch of road the camera totally failed after 20 foot or so, reception is totally lost blank face  5 minutes after noticing the issue I span the Truggy out on a massive clump of rocks and lost 2 engine mount screws which I've had to order as the Netherlands has a distinct lack of hobby shops and while I could drive 80KM to the nearest shop the cost in petrol would be worth roughly 400 of the screws I want....

So when I ordered 50 new bolts (the Truggy`s whole bottom attachments are the same hex bolts) and a metal front and rear differential box. As for the camera I plan on seeing what I can do about fixing and extending the Ariel while not going overboard and can't be powered efficiently.

More coming soon hopefully with video smile
